Benitez has twice the number of major trophies in the last 17 years as a manager than West Ham have in the 117 years as a football club.

Can't believe the mongoloid attitude of some of our fans about him. Not that I can see him coming here anytime soon.

Benitez over Moyes every time but it’s all about doing things quickly and our history and owners do not. The bigger risk is that changing manager will delay transfer activity and that would be suicidal as so much needs to be changed. If no one is lined up already then I would let Moyes continue for next season purely because of that . I am in the minority and he is not ideal but there are too many other problems that have to be sorted. If they have or are about to sound out other candidates great make the change in the next 2 or 3 weeks otherwise stick with him. I

Re: Well done Moyes and the team

GSB always seem to go for people who are not under a managers contract anywhere else. It helps to keep the costs down if you don't have to pay compensation to another club.

Any manager that is currently under contract (Benitez) are unlikely to be approached. Why would any decent, premier league experienced managers who are not under contract want to work for GSB? They will try to keep Moyes as it is the cheaper option.

Benitez is on another level to Moyes.
Why the fuck would anyone want Moyes over him.

If I had any confidence on being able to appoint better then I’d be all for moving Moyes on, but probably the best we could hope for is the fat Spanish waiter - and I want no part of that.

May as well give Moyes a chance to see if he can put together a team like he did at Everton.

Thats precisely my point - When we get beaten it's the managers fault - when we play well its because the players have just done their own thing and been amazing.

I actually think the majority of Moyes bashers on here would have preferred us to go down, almost as if to vindicate their constant slating of him.

He's ultimately got performances out of the team at vital times. The getting ironed 3 and 4 nil is nothing new to West Ham in case you needed reminding. Our defence has always been comparable to a sieve so these results are not surprising to me.

I really want Paolo to come in - As I've previously said, it can't get any worse - The very least you would get from him is entertaining football, his 100% commitment and any pre madonnas fucked off out of the door. He would make that stadium a place we all want to go and watch football. I couldn't give a fuck about his credentials.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
I've previously posted that we wouldn't get another point after the stoke draw so I'll hold my hand up and acknowledge I got it wrong.

We probably came up against a dispirited & uninterested Leicester yesterday but nonetheless we still had to beat them and beat them we did.

So yes, well done Moyes and the team, I think we're safe now barring miracles from the others around us, so another season escaping relegation by the skin of our fuckin teeth.

Can't be bothered at the moment to pen any analysis of whats going to happen in the close season, but, sadly, with this fuckin board, this shit ground, and I'm afraid with Moyes, we're not going to improve.

The fun of supporting our side is waning like fuck for me..

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
Moyes stifles many players with his negative tactics.
Stifles the team and the supporters. I can't see him being progressive with his tactics,it's not in his nature The players he has been linked with are Championship standard at best.
There are many managers floating around Europe that can do a better job despite our board being shit. you only have to look at Leicester,Watford and Newcastle to see there are similar boards out there.
He's also been shit with our younger players. Cullen and Rice in particular.

It's impossible that Swansea and Southampton can 2 games, as 1 of those games is against each other on Tuesday.

Swansea and Southampton have to play each other so one or both will drop points.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
Am I missing something here?
If we lose our two remaining games we finish with 38 points.
If Swansea win their two they have 39 points. If Southampton win their two they have 39 points if Huddersfield win their three they have 44 points.
How are we mathematically safe?

Agreed, well done all. Now let us see some flare over the last two games, time the fans were shown what we can do if we really put our minds to it.

Utter fucking nonsense.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
I don't think Moyes has performed a 'miracle' and nor should he be cunted off. Rarely is life so black and white. He's done the job he was employed for, to keep us up.

He deserves to take credit for this, he's made us bad most weeks rather than every week. That is an improvement. Plus he has totally transformed Marko Arnautovic, the one player that has done most to keep us up. He has also made us more solid, not much, but more than we were and that was needed. I don't think for a second Bilic would have kept us up, he'd clearly lost the plot and we thank him for the fantastic first season.

I don't see why we need to judge Moyes otherwise, he might stay, he might now, it's not our decision. To be honest who the fuck would want to work for the three cunts in the boardroom?
